Anahita & Apoorva
Two voices. One soul. Rooted in the Carnatic tradition, shaped by a lifetime of music.
Anahita

Anahita Ravindran is a prodigious Carnatic vocalist who began her musical journey at the age of three under the tutelage of her grandmother, Smt. Shanthi Jayaraman. Her extraordinary talent was recognised early, earning her the prestigious CCRT Scholarship from the Government of India.
A Gold Medal laureate and AIR 'A' Grade Artiste, Anahita has performed across India and internationally, in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Bahrain and the UAE. She is also a TEDx speaker, bringing the philosophy of Carnatic music to global audiences.
Her voice carries the weight and elegance true to the T. Brinda Bani, shaped by rigorous training by legendary maestros. She is also an accomplished Chitravina player, adding another dimension to her artistry.
Anahita's performances are marked by a rare combination of technical precision, emotional depth, immersive storytelling and an innate musicality that transcends the boundaries of classical convention.
Apoorva

Apoorva Ravindran is a gifted Carnatic vocalist and violinist whose musical journey began alongside her sister under the same devoted guidance.
An AIR 'A' Grade Artiste and winner of the Raj TV Tanishq Tanga Kural award, Apoorva's artistry is defined by the seamless interweaving of her vocal and instrumental expressions.
Apoorva has performed at India's most prestigious sabhas and festivals, earning acclaim from connoisseurs and critics alike. Her stage presence is marked by a quiet intensity and a deep reverence for the music she has inherited.
Together with Anahita, she forms one of the most celebrated duos in contemporary Carnatic music, a partnership built on shared heritage, mutual respect, and an unspoken musical understanding.
A journey of devotion & mastery
As a duo, Anahita and Apoorva represent a rare confluence of talent, training, and temperament.
Recipients of the CCRT Scholarship from the Government of India, they have performed at the Music Academy, Madras; Shanmukhananda Hall, Mumbai; Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Chennai; and on international stages across six nations.
Their journey is one of unwavering dedication, to the music, to their gurus, and to the audiences who have accompanied them through over two decades of concerts, recordings, and milestones.
